About the Journal

Justice & Health is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal devoted to advancing scholarship at the intersection of law, medicine, forensic science, ethics, public health and justice.

The journal welcomes high-quality original research, systematic and narrative reviews, medico-legal and clinical case reports, forensic/clinical images, commentaries, editorials, methodological contributions and scholarly perspectives relevant to its scope.

The journal seeks to promote scientifically rigorous, ethically responsible and practically relevant scholarship that contributes to justice, health, human rights, forensic practice, legal policy and evidence-informed decision-making.

The journal will follow internationally recognized principles of scholarly publishing, including the Recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), publication-ethics principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and appropriate research-reporting guidelines indexed through the EQUATOR Network.
