By submitting a manuscript and entering into a publishing agreement with Sramana Publications, the author acknowledges and agrees to assign or license all applicable copyrights to the publisher under the terms specified in that agreement.
2. Copyright Assignment and Licensing Terms
Sramana Publications publishes under an exclusive copyright ownership model. The author may retain moral authorship credit and certain pre-agreed rights (if specified in contract), but all commercial copyright exploitation—including reproduction, distribution, performance, display, and licensing—is controlled solely by the publisher.
All rights granted are governed by the scope, duration, territory, and format limitations clearly defined in the publishing agreement.
3. Unauthorized Use and Enforcement
No content—whether in part or whole—may be copied, reproduced, distributed, publicly performed, adapted, translated, hosted, transmitted, or otherwise exploited without the express written permission of Sramana Publications. This includes but is not limited to:

4. Third-Party Works and Author Warranties
Authors are responsible for ensuring that any third-party materials (e.g., quotes, images, illustrations, datasets) included in their manuscript are either:

By submitting work for publication, the author warrants that the manuscript does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or proprietary right of any person or entity. Any infringement is solely the legal liability of the author.
5. DMCA and Infringement Complaints
