This book explores the use of intraoral digital radiography (RVG) of the lower third molar as a reliable tool for forensic age estimation. Conducted on 220 subjects aged 15–30 years, the study was jointly undertaken at Maulana Azad Medical College and Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi. Using the Olze et al. Staging system, the research demonstrates a statistically significant correlation between third molar development and chronological age, supporting its application in medico-legal practice.
